TreasuryView API

Connect loans, derivatives and market data to your finance stack.

TreasuryView API is the modern interface to your accounting and treasury systems. Get interest and principal payments, interest accruals, loan reports, derivative valuations and market data for any reporting date. Interactive OpenAPI documentation speeds up setup.

  • 30 days free, no credit card. Create an API key and make your first call in the interactive documentation.

What you can do with the API

The OpenAPI specification describes every endpoint, parameter and response. You can try each one directly in the interactive documentation.

  • Loans and investments

The API reads, creates, changes and deletes loans and investments and calculates payment cash flows on demand.

  • Derivatives

The API manages interest rate swaps and calculates payment cash flows and valuation. A swap that hedges a loan is checked in a preview and saved as a hedge. A report returns the hedged share and the residual exposure.

  • Cash pools

The API manages cash pools with positive and negative balances and returns their daily schedule.

  • Payment cash flow adjustments

Individual rows of the calculated payment cash flows can be adjusted manually to reflect special terms. The adjustment stays saved with the instrument.

  • Reports

The API runs standard reports, such as nominal balance, interest cost, accrued interest and the transaction register, and exports the result to a file.

  • Interest rate curves and scenario calculations

The API delivers interest rate and forward curves, calculates implied forward rates and provides historical fixings and FX rates. Curves can be shifted by basis points or replaced with fixed rates. The API shows the effect on payment cash flows and the market values of your derivatives.

From sign-up to your first workflow

  1. Register

Create your TreasuryView account. The 30-day trial is free and needs no credit card.

    Start your 30-day free trial
  2. Create an API key

In the web app, open the account menu and choose "Add new API key". The key is shown only once. Copy it right away. A new key replaces the previous one.

  3. Try it in the interactive documentation

Open the interactive documentation (in English) and click the Authorize button with the lock icon above the list of endpoints. The button is easy to overlook. Paste your key there and run calls directly in the browser. The calls run on your own account and affect your data, so try write calls on a test loan first.

    Open the API documentation
  4. Call the API

In your own code or scripts, send your key in the X-API-KEY header. Each call acts as the key's owner and sees only that user's instruments and the portfolios colleagues have shared.

Your first calls

Replace YOUR_API_KEY with your key. Dates use the format YYYY-MM-DD, and asOfDate is optional (it defaults to today).

Read FX spot rates, quoted against EUR

curl "https://neo.treasuryview.com/api/fx-rates?referenceCurrency=EUR&asOfDate=2026-10-30" \
  -H "X-API-KEY: YOUR_API_KEY"

The response lists one row per currency with its currency, rate and asOfDate.

Run the transaction register report

curl -X POST "https://neo.treasuryview.com/api/reports/transaction_blotter/execute?asOfDate=2026-10-30" \
  -H "X-API-KEY: YOUR_API_KEY" \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{"direction": "BORROWED"}'

The optional JSON body filters the report, for example by direction, currency or portfolio.

Reliable in use

  • Calculated on request

Payment cash flows are regenerated on each call from the instrument terms, the market data of the chosen reporting date and your saved manual adjustments.

  • Clear conventions

Interest rates are decimals (0.035 means 3.5%), currencies are ISO 4217 codes, and every market data call expects a reporting date.

  • Understandable errors

Errors return a uniform error body with a meaningful status code. If a default value was used instead of a market value, the response says so.

What finance teams use the API for

Typical use cases. Each one uses endpoints that are already available in the interactive documentation.

  • Synchronise workflows

You load the payment cash flows of each loan, with interest, principal and balances, into your accounting or treasury system or your data warehouse.

  • Faster month-end closes

You run reports such as interest cost or accrued interest for a reporting date and export the result to a file.

  • Automate derivative valuations

You pass the market value and payment cash flows of your interest rate swaps to your accounting system for the close.

  • Run interest rate scenarios

You calculate payment cash flows and reports for an interest rate scenario, such as rising or falling rates, before you decide on a hedge.

  • Check your hedge ratio

You preview a swap for a loan, save the hedge and bring the hedged share and residual exposure into your own dashboard.

  • Use market data in your calculation models

You read curves, historical fixings and FX rates for any reporting date straight into your spreadsheets, scripts or BI tools.
